Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 11-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

The author must send the manuscript online by first registering as an author on the website https://jesika.unsika.ac.id/index.php/jesika/index

For every submitted article, the author is obliged to follow the terms and conditions in accordance with Style Guide of Jurnal Elektronik Sistem Informasi Unsika (Jesika) (can be downloaded on the web)

General Guidelines

  1. Use the JESIKA guide (download) as template
  2. The text submitted by the author is the original scientific paper, has never been published, and is not being submitted for publication in other media/journals
  3. The text proposed may be results of the study (field/literature), conceptual ideas, studies, application of theories, and criticism in the Information System
  4. Scripts can be written either in Indonesian or in English.
  5. The manuscript begins with abstract of 200-300 words written in Indonesian and English.
  6. The English-language abstracts are typed slanted with the font of 10. Title, abstract, and keywords are written in Indonesian and English.
  7. Abstracts should clearly indicate background of the problems, objectives, theories and methods, findings or novelty of ideas, and main conclusions.
  8. The author's name is written without academic degrees. If a script is written by a team or more than one person, the editor will communicate only with the main author or corresponding author.
  9. Scripts are organized into five subheadings in the following order: (a) Introduction: includes problem identification, literature review, research objectives, as well as the benefits of the research, (b) Method: consists of the way the research is done and a description of the material, equipment, and procedures used in conducting the analysis or research, (c) Results and Discussion: describes the results of research or analysis and can be presented in sub-chapters, (d) Conclusion: written in the form of a summary and if necessary, each paragraph containing conclusions of the research can be given serial numbers. (e) Bibliography: Bibliography arranged alphabetically refers to the IEEE Style of Citation.
  10. Script can be written in Indonesian or English as many as 6 -12 pages. Sources of references/citations listed in the script are the primary reference sources in the form of research reports or articles published in the scientific journal/magazine in the last 5 years.
  11. Technical writing citations use the enclosed reference technique of IEEE citation style.
  12. Article Format has met the Style Guide of Jurnal Elektronik Sistem Informasi Unsika (JESIKA).
  13. The article has not been published in any media and is not being submitted to other journals
  14. The article does not contain the results of plagiarism, falsification, and fabrication of data.
  15. The author revised the article to the time limit specified by the Editor
  16. This journal does not charge the following author fees.

Please note that any papers which fail to meet our requirements will be returned to the author for amendment. Only papers which are submitted in the correct style will be considered by the Editors.
